This is an exciting day for Wolves FC. Our committee continues to strive to provide the best opportunities for our members, as they are vital to our long-term sustainability and success. We believe the potential at the club exceeds the capabilities of any throughout Queensland so it is important the technical staff we recruit match our vision in taking this club forward.
We are pleased to announce Josh McCloughan as the new technical advisor for Wolves FC. Josh is a former A-League footballer who played as a central defender for the Brisbane Roar. He is a Football Federation Australia A-Licenced coach and as a Joey’s (Australian U17’s) assistant, spent time within Ange Postecoglou’s Caltex Socceroos coaching setup. Josh recently managed the Brisbane Roar FC Youth team in the Foxtel National Youth League 2015/16 season. He is also studying a Bachelor of Sport Management at Griffith University to continue his off field development.
Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the role, which will see him take charge of the technical direction of the club along with implementing the plan that drives it. Josh has specialised in youth development for the past 10 years and his key objective at Wolves FC is to establish a clear direction and transition between age specifics while providing players with the best environment to improve.
Josh had this to say, “The thing that excites me about the club is the opportunity. The opportunity to firstly build on the club’s foundations and secondly provide a clear pathway that provides players with the opportunity to reach the level to which they aspire.”
