WYNNUM WOLVES FC is excited to announce celebrated former Socceroos player and coach, Frank Farina, will be joining the Bayside club as an Ambassador and Mentor for the 2020 season. A proud Queenslander who is passionate about identifying and promoting the wealth of untapped football talent in the Sunshine State, Farina will be an invaluable resource for Wolves’ coaches and players alike in 2020. Wolves’ Technical Director, Ken Mitchell, said Farina’s link with the club underlines the serious intent of Wynnum Wolves to set a standard of excellence both on and off the pitch in the coming seasons. “Frank Farina has done it all in the world of Football and I’m excited that the young players and coaches at our club will get to meet and interact with someone of his standing in the game, on their own home turf, on a regular basis.” Farina – who has recently been named as the Director of Football for the Charles Perkins Soccer Academy – will be a regular visitor at Wolves throughout the 2020 season to support the club in its goal of building a strong development program for both players and coaches over the coming seasons. Farina’s affiliation will start with a visit to Junior NPL and Senior Trials at Carmichael Park from 6pm tomorrow evening (Tuesday, November 12th).
